1 clove garlic, chopped
olive oil (1 Tbsp
Passata or canned crushed tomato (400-500 gms)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp black pepper
optional: 1 tsp anchovy paste
handful of chopped basil
Saute garlic, don't brown it
Add tomatoes, salt, sugar, pepper, basil (and anchovy paste if using it)
simmer on low heat for 20m
