Portuguese Kale Soup

Ingredients

• 1 c dry pea or kidney beans, soaked

• 1 large onion, sliced

• 1 lb chorizo/chourico

• 1lb kale

• 10 c water

• 1 tsp pepper

• 2 cups potatoes, cubed

Steps

• Put everything but potatoes in pot; cook 2-3 hours

• Add potatoes, 1c water more, cook until tender
