Asian glazed salmon

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

  • 2 tablespoons peeled and ginger

  • dried red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs salmon fillets

Steps

  1. Cook on medium heat sugar, soy sauce, ginger, dash of red pepper flakes, garlic, and lime juice for 15 - 20 minutes or until the sauce forms a glaze

  2. Preheat broiler

  3. Place salmon on a covered in foil broiler pan and baste with sauce

  4. Let sit for 15 minutes

  5. Broil until cooked through - 6 - 8 minutes

  6. Remove from heat and baste again before serving
