Fish Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c)

  • 1 c sliced celery

  • 2 large tomatoes, peeled, diced (1c)

  • 1 large potato, diced (1c)

  • 1 lb fish, any type of whitefish works

  • 2 1/2c water

  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 3 Tbsp butter

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 2 cup milk

Steps

  • Cook bacon, then onion, then celery.

  • Add water, s&p, potato, cook until done

  • Add fish and tomato, cook through

  • Make white sauce separately, then add.
